"A fresh, nutritious and very tasty vegan burrito with hummus that you can eat at any time of the day."

Ingredients

  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • arugula - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • red onion - 1 pc.
  • cucumbers - 2 pcs.
  • carrots - 3 pcs.
  • hummus - for spreading
  • tortilla - 6 pcs. or lavash

How to make

To make the vegetarian burrito, we start by washing and cleaning all the vegetables.

Cut the tomatoes into slices.

Finely chop the red onion.

The cucumber of choice can be left with the peel and cut into thin rings.

Grate the carrots on a grater of the size of your choice.

Place all the chopped vegetables and arugula in separate bowls.

Proceed to making the burrito.

Using a spoon, spread the whole tortilla/lavash with hummus.

Tomatoes and cucumber are arranged in a strip in the middle, by alternating.

Grated carrot is scattered on top and along the entire length.

After that, onions are spread everywhere.

And finally, add arugula everywhere.

To roll up the burrito, fold in the left and right edges, then fold the bottom edge and continue to roll, applying gentle pressure.

Now our vegan hummus burrito is ready. You can cool it slightly and serve it as a cold sandwich.
