How to make
Begin with the preparation of the cream.
Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla and gradually add the milk and 1 tbsp. flour.
The finished mixture is transferred to a deep pot and boiled over a moderate heat until it thickens.
When the cream has already thickened, remove it from the stove, add the chocolate in small pieces and return it to the stove again. Stir until the chocolate melts and mixes well.
Now it is time for the butter, which is added immediately after the pot is removed from the heat (the butter must be cold).
The cream is whipped again and thus the great taste of this chocolate cream is already obtained.
To make the ladyfinger cake, you need a 21 cm springform pan.
Cover the bottom and sides of the pan with cling film and arrange the ladyfingers, dipping each one in milk. Every single hole must be covered with ladyfingers so that the cream does not spread (the ladyfingers are arranged around the sides of the tray as well).
Pour all the cream, spread it well and arrange the ladyfingers again.
Cover the top with the foil and leave the cake in the refrigerator for 1 night.
In the morning, the cake is turned over onto a suitable tray/dish and spread with cream. If you wish, you can cover it with chocolate melted in a water bath.
