Ingredients

  • morello cherries - 1/2 cup
  • butter - 7 oz (200 g)
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • eggs - 8
  • walnuts - 7 oz (200 g) crushed
  • breadcrumbs - 1 1/2 cup
  • lemon peel - grated from half a lemon
  • cinnamon - 1 tbsp.
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Beat the softened butter with the sugar until white. The yolks are added one by one, and then the egg whites, beaten well.

Add the crushed walnuts, lemon peel and cinnamon.

Finally, add the breadcrumbs and pitted morello cherries.
