Ingredients

  • chicken - 6 pieces
  • potatoes - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • olive oil
  • for the vegetable sauce
  • onions - 1 large head
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • mushrooms - 3
  • carrots - 1
  • peppers - 1/2, red
  • tomatoes - 2, or 4/5 cup (200 ml) tomato sauce
  • chicken broth - 1 cup
  • flour - 1 tablespoon
  • savory - 1 sprig fresh
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch
  • black pepper

How to make

Wash the drumsticks and boil them in water. Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes. Remove half-boiled meat from the broth and put it in a buttered baking dish. Arrange the potatoes around the meat and bake in a preheated 430°F (220 °C) oven.

Cut up all the products for the sauce and put them in a blender. Season with the spices and add the flour, broth, then blend. Once the potatoes toast and begin to soften, carefully pour on the sauce and mix with the meat and potatoes. Finally, sprinkle it with freshly ground black pepper and bake about 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

When serving, sprinkle it with fresh spices to taste.
