How to make
Peel the potatoes, wash and cut them into 3/32 (3 mm) thick round slices. Put them in a bowl with cold water. Grate the garlic and add it to the drained potatoes, which you've seasoned with salt and pepper.
Transfer the potatoes with garlic and spices into a gratin or other tray.
Add the cream and mix well, arranging the potatoes on top. Put it to bake for about an hour (longer if necessary) in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven.
