Ingredients

  • mint - 3.5 oz (100 g) fresh leaves
  • sugar - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • water - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • citric acid - 2 tsp (10 g)

How to make

Pour the water over the washed leaves. After 24 hours, strain the liquid, add the sugar and citric acid.

Stir the liquid to melt the sugar. Pour them into washed and dried bottles. To last longer, sterilize for 15 minutes.

Serve it diluted with carbonated water, ice and lemon or lime.
