Ingredients

  • broccoli - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • topping
  • cooking cream - 7 oz (200 g)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oregano
  • cheddar - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • yellow cheese - 1.8 oz (50 g) grated

How to make

Place the broccoli in boiling salted water for 8 minutes and strain them. They can also be placed in a metal basket in boiling water, without it covering them and that way they can be steamed until the stems soften.

Pour them into a greased baking pan with a diameter of 9″ (24 cm). Mix cooking cream with 30 ml of water from boiling the broccoli, season with salt, black pepper and oregano.

The cheddar is cut into small pieces on the broccoli, pour cream on top and sprinkle with yellow cheese.

Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) until it is cooked and acquires a golden color on top. Delicious Broccoli and Cheddar Casserole!
