Beat the egg whites with the lemon juice, until a thick mixture is obtained. Gradually add powdered sugar, hazelnuts, vanilla and grated lemon peel, while continuing to beat vigorously.
Pipe out the meringues onto a tray lined with greased baking paper and bake them in a very low preheated oven until done.
Take out the baked meringues and place them on a smooth surface to cool and serve them.
