Ingredients

  • artichoke - 1 head
  • blue cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • wine - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • wine vinegar - 2 tbsp.
  • salt
  • garlic - 5 cloves
  • lemon
  • parsley

How to make

Clean the artichoke from the leaves, cut down the middle into two pieces and place them in a pot of boiling salted water. Cook for 10 minutes, then immediately strain from the water.

Heat the oven to 320°F (160°C).

Arrange the artichokes in a suitable baking pan, sprinkle with the chopped garlic cloves. Add a piece of the blue cheese and lemon to each one.

Mix the olive oil, white wine and vinegar. Add the liquid to the baking pan. Cover with foil and bake for about an hour at 320°F (160°C).

Sprinkle with parsley.

The artichokes turn out delicious when cooked with more herbs - bay leaves, thyme, etc.

I refrained from using them, because of the aroma of the blue cheese, garlic and lemon.

The artichokes with blue cheese and garlic are very tasty.
