Ingredients

  • rice - 12 oz (350 g)
  • dock - 1 large bunch
  • spearmint - 1 bunch
  • oil - 1/3 cup (80 ml)
  • onion - 1 large onion
  • savory herb - 1 tsp. crushed
  • dried vegetables - 1 tbsp.
  • water - about 3 4/5 cups (900 ml) depends on the type of rice
  • salt - by taste
  • black pepper - by taste

  • yogurt - 0.9 lb (400 g), high fat content
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • baking soda - 1 level top tsp.
  • milk - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • flour - 2 tbsp. with a rounded top
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Chop the onion and put it to fry in the oil, until it becomes slightly golden.

During this time, wash and cut the dock and spearmint leaves. Add them to the fried onions and add salt, so that they can soften faster.

Pour the washed rice and stir for 1-2 minutes.

Season with more salt, black pepper, crushed savory herb and the dried vegetables.

Transfer everything into a baking pan, pour warm water in a ration according to the type of rice you are using and put it in a 390°F (200°C) oven with a fan.

Bake, until the rice absorbs the liquid and then mix the ingredients for the topping.

Pour the mixture over the rice and bake, until it acquires a golden brown color.
