How to make
Boil the syrup from the water, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Cool it slightly and pour it over the kadaif, then set it aside to absorb the syrup well (1-2 hours).
Cream preparation:
Boil the milk, add the sugar and semolina. Stir over low heat, until it thickens. Flavor with vanilla.
Remove it from the heat and add the eggs (one at a time) while continuously stirring.
It is placed back onto the heat again (for about 5-6 minutes), by stirring constantly, so that it does not burn.
Remove it from heat and let it cool (for about 10 minutes).
Spread half of the syrupy kadaif on the bottom of the baking pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and crushed walnuts.
Spread the dairy cream on top and the rest of the kadaif on top and sprinkle with walnuts and cinnamon.
Leave it for two hours in the refrigerator.
