Ingredients

  • zucchini - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g) finely grated
  • garlic - 1 or 2 cloves

  • cream cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • sour cream - 3.5 oz (100 g) or strained yogurt

How to make

Preparing the base:

The tray has internal dimensions of 11x12″ (28x31 cm).

Grate the zucchini, season with salt and leave them for about 15 minutes.

Strain the zucchini through a cheesecloth or a strainer.

Add the eggs and yellow cheese. Grate the garlic. Mix.

Place baking paper in the baking pan. Pour the mixture and level it out.

Bake at 360°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes. Keep an eye on it! My oven is gas and it bakes differently.

Remove the roll and leave it to cool. Turn it upside down, because it's always more baked and I don't want it to show.

Preparation of the filling:

The cream cheese and sour cream are combined and mixed with the spices. Then, by using the paper, carefully roll up the savory roll.

Store the perfect zucchini roll in the fridge!
