Ingredients

  • eggs - 5 pcs.
  • vanilla powder - 2 pcs. (0.2 g each) or essence
  • melted coconut oil - 3 tbsp.
  • maple syrup - 3 tbsp. (or 70 g of erythritol)
  • coconut flour - 2 tbsp.
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • carob powder - 2 tbsp. or cocoa
  • apples - 2 pcs. (diced)
  • walnuts - 2.8 oz (80 g) crushed

How to make

Beat the eggs very well.

Gradually add the vanilla, coconut oil, maple syrup, or erythritol (if you don't have any, use honey). Add the flour, carob powder and baking powder.

Add the apples to the mixture.

The walnuts should be larger. Add them to the mixture.

Pour the resulting dough (don't worry if it looks thick) in a 8x8″ (20x20 cm) mold and bake the gluten-free cake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C), until it is fully baked. Everyone knows how their oven works.

You can sprinkle the apple cake with coconut shavings or whatever you choose on top.
