  • arugula - 6 cup
  • chopped basil - 2 tbsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • parmesan - 3/4 cup
  • olive oil - 1/2 cup
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
  • walnuts - 1 cup
  • penne - 9 oz (250 g)

How to make

Start the pasta recipe with making the pesto. You need to put all of the ingredients in a blender - arugula, garlic, walnuts, grated Parmesan cheese and salt.

Blend and after a minute add the olive oil, lemon juice and continue blending.

The pesto can be stored for ten days in a jar in the refrigerator.

This amount is enough for 2 jars and for 2 servings of penne, you will need half a jar.

Boil the penne, strain it and mix it with the pesto. Serve penne with arugula pesto while it's warm.
