How to make
Clean the dock from the stems and the middle large core. Blanch the dock in salted water to change its color, strain it well and finely chop it.
Heat the oil in a pot and fry the finely chopped onion, until it softens.
Add the washed rice to fry, until it becomes transparent. Add the blanched dock and stir to mix the products.
Pour the paprika, stir and pour hot water, by sticking to the rule of the ratio of rice to water , which is 1:3.
Season with salt, black pepper, turmeric, savory herb and leave it on low heat to cook, until the rice is ready.
Serve the dish warm.
