How to cook
My aromatic apple cake will become your favorite if you like fruit cakes and all kinds of apple desserts.
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder, add the salt, spices and diced butter, then rub it into the flour with your fingers, until a crumbly mixture is obtained.
Add the sugar and mix everything.
The peeled apples, which are cut into slices of approximately equal thickness are mixed lightly in the prepared mixture.
Beat the eggs with milk, pour the mixture over everything and mix, until a sticky dough is obtained.
Transfer the mixture into a mold with a diameter of 8″ (20 cm), greased with oil and sprinkled with flour, lightly flatten it out and sprinkle it with sugar.
Bake the apple cake for 45-50 minutes in a preheated oven.
Leave the baked cake in the mold for 5 minutes, then remove it and leave it to cool completely.
