measures

How to make

In a pot, beat the eggs with the sugar, condensed milk and grated peel of one orange with a fork.

The mixture is placed on a very low heat (2nd stage out of 9). Stir constantly, until it thickens and it aquires the consistency of pancake batter.

Remove it from the heat and leave it to cool down to room temperature, by stirring occasionally to avoid it forming a crust or it is covered with cling film.

Peel the oranges and cut them into small pieces. In a bowl with a mixer, beat the mascarpone, add the cream and the juice, which the chopped oranges have released and continue beating, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Add the orange slices and mix well - without a mixer.

Spoon by spoon of this mixture is added to the cooled egg mixture and after each one mix well with a spatula.

Finally, the crispy chocolate balls are added.

Two round or rectangular oblong molds are covered with cling film and the mixture for the semifreddo is distributed in them.

Place them in the freezer for at least 12 hours. Remove the semifreddo with oranges using the cling film, wait a few minutes for it relax and cut it into pieces.
