Ingredients

  • sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • biscuits - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • butter - 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp.
  • dates - 1.4 oz (40 g) pitted
  • candied orange peel
  • crushed walnuts - 1/2 cup
  • raisins - 1.7 oz (50 g)
  • powdered sugar

How to make

Finely chop the biscuits.

Beat the eggs with the sugar.

Melt the butter and finely chop the dates.

Add the cocoa, walnuts, dates, raisins and butter to the biscuits. Stir and add the candied orange peels and eggs. Stir the mixture well.

Prepare cling film and sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Pour the biscuit mixture on top and carefully shape the sweet salami.

Wrap it well with the cling film and refrigerate it for a few hours.

Open up the chilled sweet salami and roll it well with powdered sugar.
