Ingredients

  • rice - 1 cup
  • leeks - 1 stalk
  • spinach - 1 bunch
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1 tsp.
  • mint - 3 - 4 leaves
  • salt - by taste
  • water - 3 cup

How to make

Wash the spinach, clean it from the stalks and blanch it with hot water for 2-3 minutes.

Heat the oil in a pan and stew the finely chopped leeks in it. Add the washed and strained rice and peeled and finely chopped tomatoes.

Stew for 2-3 minutes, then add the strained from the water and finely chopped spinach.

Season with paprika, black pepper, fresh mint and as much salt as you like.

Pour warm water and place the baking pan in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 degrees) for about 40 minutes.

You can eat this oven-baked rice both on its own and as a side dish for various meats.

The rice with leeks and spinach is ready.
