How to make

This wonderful sweet roll is very easy to prepare and at the same time very effective and suitable for any special occasion. Apart from being a roll, you can present the mixture in the form of homemade candies.

This recipe is for a lean sweet roll, very suitable for holidays and during fasting.

The first step in its preparation is the crushing of the biscuits, you can use a blender or do it manually with a rolling pin. Add cocoa and sugar to the biscuits. Stir well and add the water to make a thick mixture.

Spread a sheet of cling film, pour the mixture, distribute it evenly and cover it with another layer of cling film. Use a rolling pin to form a perfect 1.2″ (3 cm) thick layer.

In a bowl, mix the coconut oil, shavings and powdered sugar. Stir well and pour them over the base. Sprinkle the croquant, by adding more on the wider part. Once you roll the roll, the nuts should be in the middle.

You may need to remove some of the mixture before wrapping the roll to make it look aesthetically pleasing once it has been rolled up.

Wrap it with the cling film and put it in the fridge for a few hours to set. If you have set aside a part of it, you can use it to make candies. Form balls, add hazelnuts inside and roll them in the crocan shavings.

Once the festive bounty hazelnut roll has set and it is ready to eat, decorate it with the balls and serve it.
