How to make
Pestille is a fruit puree, boiled without sugar and then dried.
Thoroughly wash the ripe plums, remove the pits, cut them and put them to boil in some water. Mix continuously until you get a thick paste.
Pour it into a tray (covered with oiled paper) to a thickness of 1/2″ (1 cm), and bake it dry on both sides in a low oven until it no longer sticks to your fingers.
Once cooled, roll it up and store in a cool area.
