Ingredients

  • yogurt - 15 oz (420 g), thick, full - fat
  • water - 1/2 cup
  • eggs - 2 large eggs
  • flour - 6.7 oz (190 g) or until the required density is reached
  • baking powder - 1 tsp. with a tip
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • sugar - 1 pinch
  • butter - or oil for baking and greasing

How to make

Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and sugar. If you want the salty taste to prevail, add a little more salt, for a sweeter taste - more sugar and for neutral - leave it as it is in the recipe.

Mix the yogurt with the water and pour it over the eggs.

Sift the flour into the mixture in portions along with the baking powder and beat with a wire whisk, so that there are no lumps.

You should get a mixture a little thicker than the one for regular pancakes, similar to cake batter.

Bake the fluffy airy pancakes in a greased pan with a non-stick bottom, heated over a moderate heat.

After taking each pancake off, grease it with butter if you like and grease the pan again for the next one.

They turn out very soft and ethereal - a delight for the senses.

You can eat these pancakes with a savory or sweet topping.
