How to make
Crack the eggs into a bowl. Beat them with a wire whisk for 5-6 minutes. Dilute the condensed milk with 3/4 cup of water. Flavor them with one vanilla powder. Pour it over the beaten eggs.
In a small pot, melt the sugar for the caramel with 1 tsp. of lemon juice and 1 tbsp. of water. Pour the melted caramel over the walls of the oblong cake tin.
Arrange a row of peeled and sliced apples on the bottom. Cover them with ladyfingers and arrange more apples once again.
Finish it off with a row of ladyfingers. Pour the prepared liquid mixture. Wait for it to be fully absorbed by the ladyfingers.
Put the cake tin in a large baking pan with water and bake it in a water bath for about 50 minutes in a preheated oven at 300°F (150 degrees).
Leave the baked apple cake to cool completely before turning it over into a suitable dish.
Drizzle it with the caramel topping and refrigerate it for 2 hours.
