How to make
This year I made homemade apple cider vinegar with apples from our garden. The benefit is great and it is easy to prepare, you just need patience and the desire to do it.
Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties, strengthens the immune system, and with it you can lose weight. In winter, if you have a sore throat, mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with the same amount of honey. Stir it and drink 1 tbsp. every 3 hours.
Here's how to prepare it. The washed apples are cut into pieces and are placed in a 3 liter jar. In a saucepan with 1 cup (200 ml) of water mix the sugar or with honey and once it melts, pour it into the jar.
Add water to cover the sliced apples and I add vinegar sponge, which I kept from the previous vinegar, but if you don't have one, you can do it without it. With the vinegar sponge the fermentation proceeds faster. Close the opening of the jar with cheesecloth in three layers to prevent flies from entering.
Leave the jar in a cool place. Stir the vinegar every day with a wooden spoon. This is done for about 2-3 weeks. Strain it through cheesecloth and pour the liquid into glass bottles with caps.
At first the homemade vinegar seems cloudy, but over time it clears up.
Tasty and healthy, it is used in the kitchen for flavoring and is also good for certain illnesses. Make some, it's easy!
