Ingredients

  • chicken thighs - 2 pieces boned
  • onions - 1 pc, large
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • zucchini - 1 pc.
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • red peppers - 1 pc.
  • green peppers - 1 pc.
  • smoked paprika - 1 tbsp.
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • salt - to taste
  • white wine - 1/2 cup (100 ml)
  • black pepper
  • savory herb
  • parsley
  • bay leaves - 3 pcs
  • cummin
  • lemon juice - 1/2 lemon
  • honey - 1 tsp

How to make

Cut the chicken into bites, the pepper into juliennes, chred the carrots, and dice the tomato and cucchini.

Heat a drizzle of olive oil into a deep pan or wok, and saute the chicken bites, until it turns white and the juices evaporate. Add the finely chopped onion and garlic, season with salt and cook, until the onion softens.

Add the peppers and carrots, cover with a lid and continue cooking, until they soften. Last but not least add the zuchini, since it needs less time to cook and 3 minutes later pour in the diced tomato and season with black pepper, paprika, savory, bay leaf and cummin.

Pour in the white wine and once the alcohol evaporates, cover the chicken and vegetables with a lid and simmer, until they are fully cooked.

2-3 minutes before serving, add the honey mixed with lemon juice, and stir.

Serve the Chicken and Vegetables with finely chopped parsley and a glass of chilled white wine.
