Add salt to the cottage cheese and mix in the eggs until you get a thick porridge. Sprinkle each phyllo pastry sheet with butter and fold it in half.
At one end, spread a not-too-thick layer of filling along its length and roll it up, then cut it into pieces. Then fry the prepared phyllo pies in a highly heated oil to reddening.
Arrange the ready pies on paper towels to drain out their oil.
