How to make
The turkey is cut into portions, the cabbage into larger pieces, the onion into small pieces.
In a pan, heat the oil and butter together and fry the onions until they turn golden brown. Add the paprika and stir. Pour a glass of hot water and remove it from the heat.
In a deeper pot (if it is a pressure cooker - even better) add half of the cabbage, arrange the pieces of turkey on it, sprinkle it with finely ground black pepper and cumin, whole grains of allspice and add the remaining half of the cabbage on top.
Pour the onion mixture evenly on top. Add a glass of cabbage broth, cover the pot and cook it over medium heat for about 2 hours. If you're using a pressure cooker - 30 minutes after it steams up.
Once the meat becomes tender, remove it from the heat and let the dish rest for at least 30 minutes before serving.
