How to make
First, we need to prepare the cream for our unique tiramisu.
Whip the cream cheese, sugar and cream with a mixer, adding the cream gradually so that the cheese is well blended and smooth.
The ladyfingers (in this case we used Stella D'Oro Margherite Cookies) are dipped for a few seconds in a mixture of 2 teaspoons of matcha green tea mixed with a little water or milk to soften.
Then arrange 1 row in a tray or cake tin.
Next up is a row of cream. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of matcha green tea.
Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the tiramisu cream (the shape is optional). Another row of ladyfingers and a final row of cream follow.
The cream is sprinkled with 1-2 tablespoons of green tea.
This Italian cake stays in the fridge for 1 night or preferably 1 whole day.
Enjoy this green matcha tea tiramisu!
