"We`ve got a surprise for you - green beans unlike any you`ve ever had - tender and aromatic."

Ingredients

  • onions - 2 heads
  • garlic - 6 cloves
  • olive oil - 4 tbsp
  • cinnamon
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • mint - dried
  • tomatoes - 4
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  • green beans - 21 oz (600 g)
  • beef broth - 4/5 cup (200 ml)

How to make

In a pan, heat oil and fry the finely chopped onions in it. Once tender, add chopped garlic cloves. After 3 minutes, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon, black pepper and dried mint.

Add diced tomatoes, salt, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and the half boiled green beans. Top all of this off with beef broth. Once the dish comes to a boil, leave it to stew with the lid on, at a low heat setting, until ready.
