Ingredients

  • green beans - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • onions - 2 heads
  • peppers - 3 - 4
  • garlic - 2 heads, large
  • salt
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • oil - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • milk - 1 cup
  • tomatoes - 2 - 3, ripe
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch
  • dill - 1/2 bunch

How to make

Clean and wash the beans and cut them. Chop the onions and peppers finely and the garlic cloves into halves. Season with salt, paprika and mix. Arrange 2-3 layers of beans in a pot and distribute the vegetable mixture with the spices between them.

Top the stew with a bit less than a cup of oil, 1 cup hot water and put it to boil on medium heat. When the beans begin to soften, add the cup of milk.

Once the dish has little sauce left in it, add 2-3 finely chopped red tomatoes and the chopped parsley and dill. Stir and allow the stew to cook until finished.
