Ingredients

  • pumpkins - 26 oz (750 g)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • semolina - 3 oz (90 g)
  • cottage cheese - 1 1/2 cups (360 g)
  • eggs - 6
  • milk - 2 1/2 cups (600 ml)
  • vanilla - 1 powder packet

How to make

Peel the pumpkin, cut it into small pieces and fry it in oil until soft. Boil the semolina in the milk and sugar and mix with the pumpkin, the well mashed or rubbed through a sieve cottage cheese and 5 eggs.

You can add some raisins and vanilla if desired. Pour the mixture into a baking dish or greased form. Brush the top with beaten egg and put to bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven.
