"This is what I call a something-from-nothing stew. Fresh mushrooms picked from the garden and a little culinary magic."

Ingredients

  • mushrooms - 30 oz (850g) fresh
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100ml) vegetable
  • leeks - 7 oz (200g)
  • carrots - 1, small
  • flour - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • black pepper
  • allspice - 2 to 3 grains
  • parsley
  • salt

How to make

In some of the oil, saute the mushrooms, cleaned and sliced as needed.

Separately, in the remaining oil and some water, sauté the leeks and carrots. Once softened, add the flour, stir and add the mushrooms.

Add a little hot water to the dish, salt and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Before removing from the heat, add the spices.

Optionally, you can add 1-2 pinches of nutmeg.
