Italian Cuisine

Italian cuisine is considered one of the three best cuisines in the world. It once formed the basis of French cuisine and to some extent influenced other European cuisines.

Italian cuisine is one of the most widespread and famous outside of its homeland. In terms of number of restaurants, for example, it probably competes with the Chinese for the first place, because there is almost no city in the world where the aroma of freshly baked pizza does not waft.

For the Italians themselves, food is a celebration of life, not of the chef's art. During a meal, they can spend hours enjoying each dish.

Italian cuisine reflects the cultural diversity of the different regions. Each region has its famous specialties. In addition to regions, Italian cuisine is also divided by seasons.

A common feature is the use of fresh, seasonal products. The more famous areas that have distinguished themselves over time with their culinary skills are:

- Roman cuisine;

- Tuscan cuisine;

- Sicilian cuisine;

- Neapolitan.
