At 7 months of age, the baby starts to grow teeth. Also at this age, babies begin to move their tongue and mouth better.
At this age, food can be divided into small pieces so that babies can gradually get used to this type of food. Here is the feeding scheme of a 7-month-old baby.
Early morning feeding
Early in the morning, the 7-month-old baby can still suckle or be given milk. Feed your baby or give them adapted milk - the so-called transitional milk. This milk is needed by slightly older babies and it gives all the necessary nutrients to the baby. After reaching 8 months, the child can learn to drink milk from a cup;
Late morning feeding
Later in the morning, you can breastfeed the baby again or offer adapted milk again. If your baby is very hungry, you can make a fruit-cereal porridge.
Midday feeding
You can give your baby a puree that is made of fruits and vegetables or you can make a puree of potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, broccoli, zucchini, parsnips, etc., and you can also add half a yolk if your child has not shown any allergy;
Afternoon snack
This snack can consist of gluten-free buckwheat porridge or something else;
Dinner
Breastfeeding or adapted milk. When the baby is 7 months old, it can only hold the spoon when it eats or the cup it drinks from.
Feeding a 7-month-old baby
If your child shows any allergy, their body will immediately react with symptoms such as eczema, rashes, skin spots, etc. It is very important to take the child to a doctor after such manifestations.
After consulting a doctor and if he says that there is an allergic reaction, you should follow the diet he has prescribed.
The foods that you should especially watch out for and that can trigger an allergic reaction for a 7-month-old baby are cow's milk, eggs, fish, nuts, soy and wheat. There are also quite a few artificial food additives that can be bought at the store and can trigger an allergic reaction.
For this, it is better to give your little one baby purees of fruits and vegetables that you have made yourself, as well as homemade baby soups.
