Ingredients

  • zucchini - 1
  • carrots - 2
  • onions - 2
  • potatoes - 4 - 5, large
  • mince - 7 oz (200 g)
  • eggs - 1
  • yogurt - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • flour - 1 tsp
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • parsley
  • savory
  • dill
  • oil - 3 - 4 tbsp

How to make

Wash the vegetables. Peel the zucchini and dice it finely. Also peel and dice the potatoes. Peel the carrots and grate them coarsely. Clean the onions and chop them finely.

Saute the onions and carrots in a pot with a oil and little water. Subsequently, add the mince, which you've diluted with a little water, the zucchini, potatoes, spices - black pepper, salt, parsley, savory and dill to taste.

Stir and transfer the mixture to a tray. Pour in hot water to be level with the products. Put the moussaka to bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven.

Once it's left to cook in mostly just oil, pour the topping over it - beaten together egg, the yoghurt, 1 tsp flour. Bake until golden.

You can serve the moussaka with extra yoghurt.
