"For holiday or the everyday really, this loaf always impresses!"

Ingredients

  • milk - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • eggs - 3
  • yoghurt - 5 tbsp
  • oil - 4 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • salt - 1 tbsp
  • vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • yeast - 1 cube
  • flour - as needed for a nonstick dough
  • butter - about 2/5 cup (100 g) for smearing

How to make

First, activate the yeast in 2/5 cup (100 ml) warm milk, sugar and a few tbsp flour.

From the rest of the products and activated yeast, knead a dough. Leave it to rise/double in volume.

Divide up the dough into 18 balls. Roll out a rectangle from each ball, smear with butter, arrange them on top of one another in 3's, for a total of 6.

Roll them up into rolls, cut them lengthwise, tie the 2 ends in a knot.

Arrange each knot in the baking tray. Let them rise. Smear with beaten yolk mixed with a little milk and oil. Bake in a 360°F (180 °C) oven.
