How to make
Dissolve the sugar and yeast in the warm milk. Add 4-5 tbsp flour and leave the yeast to activate.
The the effervescent mixture, add the oil, salt and then the flour gradually. Knead a soft, nonstick dough. Leave it to rise (double in volume).
Divide the risen dough into 2 equal parts. Roll out each of them into a thin sheet about 1/8 thick. Cut it into 16 parts, through the center, like you would a pizza.
Put the desired stuffing in the wide part of each one. Carefully roll them up so the stuffing doesn't spill out. Arrange the prepared scones in an oven dish laid out with baking paper and leave them to rise.
Smear the risen scones with the beaten yolk and put them in a preheated 370°F (190 °C) oven until ready.
