"Here`s a tasty breakfast idea that you can take advantage of right away."

Ingredients

  • yoghurt - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • feta cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • flour - for a soft dough
  • butter
measures

How to make

All the products need to sit at room temperature for at least an hour. Put the yoghurt in a large, deep bowl and extinguish the baking soda in it, stir well until the yoghurt swells. Add the salt and coarsely crumbled feta cheese.

Add the sifted flour in lots. Once the dough stops sticking to your fingers, stop kneading. From it, form balls a little larger than an egg, arrange them in an oiled oven dish some distance apart from one another.

Make a small hole in the middle of each ball (not all the way to the bottom) and place a cube of butter in it. Put the oven dish in a cold oven and turn it up to 360°F (180° C), bake to a golden color.

Note: When they're placed in a cold oven and it gradually heats up, the pitas gradually rise and slowly bake at the same time. Enjoy!
