Ingredients

  • pumpkins - 1
  • apples - 3
  • quinces - 1
  • turkish delight - 1 box
  • fruits - prunes, apricots, figs
  • nuts - walnuts, fried peanuts, almonds
  • honey - 5 tablespoons

How to make

Cut the pumpkin down the middle, then remove the seeds. Peel the apples and quinces and cut them into cubes. Chop the dried fruits, nuts and Turkish delight into coarse pieces.

Place the two halves of the pumpkin in foil, in a deep tray. Start to arrange pumpkin stuffing - on the bottom, evenly distribute the honey, apples, quince, dried fruits, nuts and Turkish delight.

Wrap the pumpkin very well in the foil. Pour about two finger widths of water in the tray. Cover the entire tray with foil.

Bake in preheated oven, for about 1 hour. The pumpkin is ready once it becomes soft. Open the foil and bake the pumpkin until it catches a nice crispy crust on top.

Serve warm or cold, cut in into pieces like a cake, to see all the goodies in the pumpkin.
