How to make
Combine the sugar, milk, butter and chocolate in an enamel container on the stove. Stir on moderate heat until the mixture becomes homogenized.
Remove the spoon and boil the blend until ready - put a drop of the cream in a cup of cold water and if it forms a tight ball it means that the cream is ready.
Remove from the stove and add the ground walnuts. Stir until the mixture thickens and transfer to a buttered tray.
Put it to bake lightly in a moderate oven. Cut up the ready fudge into 3/4″ (2 cm) squares.
Then you can pour on a chocolate glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
