How to make
The cherries are pitted and cut into halves.
The peel of the orange is cut only on its half side with a vegetable peeler. It is cut into small pieces, no matter what shape they are, it does not matter.
Put them together with the cherries in a saucepan, add about 200 ml of water and sugar and put them on the stove to boil.
Lower the heat and leave them to simmer for about 3-4 minutes, by pressing with a press to squeeze out as much juice as possible.
Remove from the heat and strain through a strainer, again pressing gently on the fruit and orange peel to strain well. It is left to cool.
Place ice cubes in a whiskey glass, add 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) of whiskey, a pinch of granulated sugar and 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) of the cherry-orange juice and stir with a long spoon.
Put 1 fresh cherry and a piece of orange peel on the glass.
