"It is unbelievable that we are ONLY 15 minutes away from this interesting and appetizing dessert with semolina"

Ingredients

  • fine corn semolina - 1 tea cup
  • water - 2 cups
  • brown sugar - 15 tbsp.
  • vanilla - 2 powders (0.2 g each) or essence
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp.
  • carob - 2 tbsp.
  • cinnamon - 1 pinch
measures

How to make

Pour the sugar and vanilla into the hot water and after it boils, pour in the fine corn semolina, by stirring vigorously with a wire whisk. Stir until the water boils, the semolina thickens and begins to peel off from the bottom (this happens very quickly - in about 3 minutes).

Separate 1/2 of the mixture in another bowl to color and flavor it with cocoa, carob and cinnamon. Mix dynamically to get a even dark brown color. Prepare all this very quickly, so that the mixture does not cool down and harden.

In a suitable bowl with a perfect round shape, form the dessert with semolina in two colors, by pouring first from the yellow color semolina, followed by a second level - cocoa semolina. We spread the layers evenly and repeat these two color rows once more. This way, in the bowl, you can form the dessert of 2 colors in 4 levels (resembling layers of a cake).

It is advisable to let the patterned semolina cake cool and harden so that it can be more easily separated from the bowl.

Serve and garnish with crushed cocoa beans and cinnamon sticks.

Quick, easy, delicious dessert!

The sweet semolina dessert is a light and pleasant dessert for children!
