  • oranges - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • ice - 1.1 lb (500 g) crushed
  • sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g) or by taste
  • cointreau - 4/5 cup (200 ml) of orange liqueur
  • mint - fresh leaves for decoration

How to make

Grate the peel of one of the oranges with a suitable grater for citrus fruit, so that the white part is not grated and the shavings are very fine.

All oranges are peeled thoroughly, so that white parts of the peel do not remain on them. The seeds are removed, if any and the citrus is grinded into a fine puree in a blender along with the sugar (if your fruit are very sweet, you can reduce its amount).
