How to make
Parsnip is a root vegetable that has exceptional benefits for the human health and is suitable for small babies from the first month of feeding - 5-6 months.
It contains valuable vitamins (C, B vitamins, K) as well as selenium, magnesium, zinc, fiber.
In addition to being healthy, parsnip puree is sweet and aromatic, which makes it loved and liked by the smallest members of our family - babies.
It is best to start with a one-ingredient puree, composed of only one vegetable and little by little to start combining it with others suitable for the baby according to its age.
For the one-ingredient parsnip puree, you only need to peel the root and remove the fine skin, just like a carrot. Boil it for 30-35 minutes on low heat and then mash the puree along with some of the water the vegetables were boiled in. Add as much liquid as needed for the desired consistency.
Gradually start to include a little carrot and potato in the baby parsnip puree and after the 12th month, add the healthy white turnip as well.
