Ingredients

  • biscuits - about 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • butter - 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • walnuts - 2 cups (crushed or grinded)
  • cocoa - 10 tbsp.
  • vanilla - 2 packets (0.2 g each) and a little rum for flavor

How to make

Coarsely break the biscuits and add the walnuts. Put them in a deep bowl and add the melted butter to them, sugar, milk, cocoa, vanilla and rum.

Stir gently, until a smooth mixture is obtained. Use foil, spread a thin layer of butter, put the mixture and roll it up into a roll.

Put the shaped salami in the refrigerator to cool overnight.

If you are waiting for guests and do not have time, you can put it in the freezer for two or three hours.

The sweet salami is then cut into pieces and it is served.

Optionally, you can add grinded walnuts or chocolate sprinkles on the Armenian Sweet Salami for decoration.
