  • turkey - 1 pc.
  • butter - 4.5 oz (125 g)
  • oil
  • salt
  • black pepper - by taste

  • minced meat - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • breadcrumbs
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • salt

How to make

The turkey is washed and dried.

The minced meat is mixed with the finely chopped onion stewed in butter, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper and parsley.

The turkey is filled with the mixture and it is sewn.

Spread it everywhere with oil, sprinkle it with salt and black pepper and wrap it in aluminum foil.

Put it in a baking pan and bake it for 3-4 hours in a moderately heated oven at 360°F (180°C).

Shortly before removing it from the oven, remove the foil and bake the turkey, until it aquires a crust.

The slow roasted turkey is served with roasted potatoes and gravy sauce.
