How to make
Wash the peas and strain them from the water. Peel an onion and finely chop it. Pour oil (4 tablespoons) into a pot. Add the chopped onion and peas. Pour a little warm water (1 cup), sprinkle with as much curry and black pepper as you like, turn on the stove and stew the vegetables until they remain in fat.
Add sweet paprika, smoked paprika and flour. Stir several times and pour warm water (approximately 4-5 cup).
Boil the dish without putting a lid on the pot, until the peas are cooked well and during cooking you can add more warm water.
Sprinkle with as much savory herb as you like and a few minutes before removing it from the heat, add a cube of vegetable broth and if necessary, salt.
You can additionally thicken the pea stew with a little more flour dissolved in water, while stirring.
