How to make
At first glance, it may seem time consuming to prepare a variety of spreads for your guests, but here I have selected a few that you can prepare easily, with some identical products as a base, but actually very different in taste and end result.
You will have a combination of spreads with both oriental and Mediterranean taste.
The eggplant spread will take you the most time, Baba Ganoush and not becuase of anything else, but only because of baking. In my recipe here on the site I describe in detail how to prepare this delicacy, but here I will change the ingredients a bit. Let's say that this is different variety of Baba Ganoush.
Wash the eggplants, cut them in half lengthwise and sprinkle them with salt. Leave them for 30 minutes and wash and dry them.
Let them drain for 30 minutes at 390°F (200 degrees) and turn them at least once in the meantime. Roast the whole head of garlic along with them. When they are ready and almost cooled, peel them.
Finely chop the mint and parsley. Add the garlic to them - the roasted and the raw clove and the eggplant flesh. Add all the other products described in the recipe and puree or blend them in a blender until a smooth mixture is obtained.
Refrigerate it for at least 1 hour, during which time start making the other spreads.
For the second and third, just mix all of the products until a smooth mixture is obtained.
The fourth spread requires you to grind or mash the cheese with a clove of garlic and season it with thyme, lemon juice, olive oil and grated lemon peel. A unique combination is obtained.
For the fifth spread, mix the cream cheese with lemon juice, fresh basil and tuna again. You can just simply mix everything or blend the ingredients into a creamy mixture.
The delicious spreads for guests should set a little in the refrigerator and then you can just serve them however you like!
Enjoy your meal!
