measures

How to make

Release the tension, close your eyes and mentally move somewhere in Provence - the land of lavender fields, fragrant slopes, fragrant flowers. Lavender (lavandula spica) - my favourite plant with a very specific charming scent.

It has a natural calming aroma and a weak sedative effect, which is why it is used as a natural relaxant when people are nervous, tired or more active.

The flowers also have a bactericidal effect and are applied in the form of an infusion.

Two tablespoons of the lavender are poured with 2 cups of boiling water and left to soak for 20 minutes.

The infusion is filtered and 2.7 fl oz (80 ml) of it is drunk 6 times.

The dose of lavender tea is divided, taking 1/2 15 minutes before a meal and 1/2 30 minutes after a meal.

Infusion of the flowers is taken for nervous exhaustion, headaches, heaviness, during childbirth, colic and indigestion.

Weak infusion (25% from the normal ingredient) is given to babies for colic, irritability and agitation.

Lavender flowers have a sedative and weak sedative effect.

The soothing lavender tea is used for dizziness, migraine, insomnia, neurasthenia, nervous heartbeat.

It is used as an antispasmodic in gastric, renal and intestinal colic.

The fragrant flowers in this tea also have a bactericidal effect.

The decoction also has a choleretic effect in biliary dyskinesia, a diaphoretic effect in flatulence, and a diuretic effect.

In folk medicine, lavender is used to stimulate digestion and as an antispasmodic.

It is used against moths in connection with its insecticidal action.

The essential oil is used for rubbing in neuralgic pain.
