How to make
Heat a non greased pan to a moderate temperature and fry the minced meat by pressing with a spoon to make it crumbly. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until it changes its color.
Pour the tomato sauce, season with basil, salt and sugar and simmer for about 20 minutes or until it thickens.
Cut the baguette in half, lengthwise. Bake the baguettes lightly on the grill for 2-3 minutes, placing them with the cut side up. Divide the minced sauce over the baguette slices.
Cut the mozzarella into small pieces and arrange them on the sauce. Bake on the grill for another 2-3 minutes until the mozzarella has melted.
